Hangin' with the Boys

Gareth and I spend a great deal of time together. Thanks to the flexibility of my schedule, I'm home with the G almost every morning. One of our favorite activities is to cuddle, Dad sitting in his desk chair and Gareth slouching in Dad's lap, while we watch the infamous Mr. Noodles of Elmo's World. Those two vaudevillian jokers really crack us up.



Some mornings, Gareth's hair makes the punkiest of punk rockers envious.

The Decorah Home for Phlegm Convalescence

Everyone in our household is presently sick. Gareth is recovering from pneumonia, Kathleen is struggling with a chest cold, and I'm just getting over a sinus infection. What the heck? We're fairly healthy folk--we eat WAY healthier than most folks in these parts--and we're the ones who get sick. Ick. Despite all the illness swirling around, we've still managed to snap on occasional picture or two of Gareth. Sick or not, he's one good looking kid.
